TULANG (SKELETON)

komposisi tulang:
• air (25%)
• organic constituent termasuk osteoid & sel tulang (25%)
• inorganic constituent, terutama calsium phosphate (50%)

tipe-tipe tulang:
-panjang (long)
-pendek (short)
-tidak beraturan (irreguler)
-datar (flat)

1. Long bone
   terdiri dari shaft & 2 extrimities.
   contoh: tibia, fibula, femur
2. Short, irregular, flat % sesamoid   :tidak mempunyai bentuk shaft ataupun extrimities dan dalam bermacam-macam bentuk, contoh;

-short: carpal
-irregular bone : bbrpa tulang tengkorak
-flat bone : sternum, ribs, most skull bone
-sesamoid : platella

Struktur tulang
• tulang panjang

1. diaphisis terdiri dari sumsum tulang (fatty yellow bone marrow)

2. ephiphysis dan diaphysis dipisahkan oleh epiphyseal cartilages yang menjadi keras ketika pertumbuhan dewasa

3. penebalan tulang terjadi karena proses pengendapan sel tulang di bawah peristoneum

4. lapisan luar terdiri dari fibrous, lapisan dalam terdiri osteogenic yang mengandung osteoblast dan osteoclast

Fungsi tulang:

• sbg rangka
• tempat pelekatan otot dan tendon
• untuk pergerakan dgn bantuan otot
• melingungi organ
• terdiri dari sumsum tulang sebagai tempat berkembangnya sel darah :haematopoiesis
• menyediakan tempat persedian mineral; calcium phosphate

AXIAL SKELETON

long axis of the body, 80 bones dalam 3 bagian:

1. Skull

8 cranial bones, 14 facial bones. Kebanyakan terdiri dr tulang pipih. Kecuali mandibula, semua tulang di satukan dgn kuat oleh sutura. Mayor sutura:

– Coronal (antara Frontal & Parietal)
– Sagittal (Antara Parietal bones)
– Squamosal (Antara Parietal & Temporal)
– Lambdoidal (Antara Parietal & Occipital)

• Cranium : I frontal bone , 2 parietal bones, 2 temporal bones, I occipital bone, 1 sphenoid bone, 1 ethmoid bone.

2. Vertebra column

Terdiri dari 24 separate movable, irregular bones, and the coccyx

The 24 separate bones are in three groups: 7 cervical, 12 thoracic and 5 lumbar.

3. Thoracic cage ; 1 sternum , 12 pairs of ribs, 12 thoracic vertebrae

1. Shoulder girdle and upper limb

 Tulang bahu terdiri dari : 1 clavicle, 1 scapula.

 Lengan atas (upper limb) terdiri : 1 humerus , 1 radius, 1 ulna, 8 carpal bones, 5 metacarpal bones, 14 phalanges.

2. Pelvic girdle and lower limb

 The bones of the pelvic girdle are: 2 innominate bones, 1 sacrum.

 The bones of the lower limb are: 1 femur, 1 tibia, 1 fibula, 1 patella, 7 tarsal bones, 5 metatarsal bones, 14 phalanges.
